Title: 13 Psalm 42
Synopsis: The relationship with God in the OT was based on the temple, feasts, offerings and the rituals thereof. The alter was central to them like the cross is central to us. In Psalm 42 David is longing after Zion when he has been cast out of Jerusalem. His heart is with the ark, with the presence of God above all else. In David's exile all he cares about is missing the Lord.
