Synopsis; Jacob will always be Jacob, we will always be us, until we look past God’s hands and what He does for us, into His face. Then we can be changed into His same image. We cannot trick or manipulate Him and He will bring us into a place where that encounter can take place. Which encounter changes us first and also our human relationships.
