Synopsis: Pilate saw somewhat behind the veil into Jesus being a true King. We would fight to validate ourselves as being of God to get honor from man. We would avenge ourselves for the lack of glory and honor. But Jesus was a veiled King, a King in Kenosis. As such, He did not want honor but by those who truly saw into the nature of His person.
