Title: 2 Describing Self Emptying
Synopsis: Jesus did not grasp after what Satan demanded and made himself in Isaiah 14. Jesus emptied HIMSELF. He did not grasp after the things that men cling to for glory. RatherJesus emptied himself of those things. He did not seek reputation, power, etc… He sought the Father’s glory while not putting Himself forth. Though Jesus was God and had all power, he chose to not use those resources. The cross is the final sign and sum of His nature of self-giving.
